Julie Disney

DVM, MS, DACVO

Julie Disney was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois. Her internship in small animal medicine and surgery as well as residency in ophthalmology were completed at Virginia Tech, where she learned she couldn’t return to the flatlands of the Midwest. She moved west to enjoy all that the mountains have to offer. She enjoys treating eye disease as a means of improving quality of life for both her patients and clients, including treating corneal ulcers, managing dry eye disease, and performing cataract surgery. She spends her spare time hiking, downhill skiing, and attempting wheel thrown ceramics.
