Kristina Kiefer

DVM, PhD, CCRP, DACVSMR, DACVS-SA

Dr. Kiefer is a University of Minnesota DVM, PhD and surgical residency alumni. She managed to explore outside the Minnesota bubble with a rotating internship at RedBank Veterinary Hospital, and a surgical internship at Gulf Coast Veterinary Surgery before returning home to round out her specialty training. She still considers Minnesota home, but now works worldwide providing relief services as a surgeon and sports medicine specialist. She considers the relentless pursuit of learning and advancing a hobby and a passion and loves to share that with friends and colleagues. When she's living life as a whole human (not just a veterinarian!!), you'll find her snuggled with her dogs and cats reading, or adventuring outside (yes, with all of them!) backpacking, hiking, skiijoring and snowshoeing.
