What is the WVC Annual Conference?
From what began as the Intermountain Livestock Sanitary Association in 1928, to what is now one of the largest and most exciting veterinary conferences in the country, the WVC Annual Conference is a place for all veterinarians, veterinary technicians, practice managers, students, and all other animal health industry members to gather.

p.s. In case you're wondering what 'WVC' means, it used to stand for "Western Veterinary Conference". Now we just call the event WVC, or WVC Annual Conference. The more you know!

Where do I purchase my conference registration?
Once registration goes on sale, To register to attend the WVC Annual Conference, click here. If you haven't done so, you are required to create a My Viticus account. To keep your details up-to-date, please use an active email address that you have access to, as this is one of our preferred methods of tracking your payment details and CE hours.
When will I be able to pick up my WVC badge?
All badges can be picked up at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Level 2 during the following times (subject to updates):
Saturday, March 1 | 3:00p – 6:00p
Sunday, March 2 | 6:00a – 6:00p
Monday, March 3 | 6:00a – 5:00p
Tuesday, March 4 | 6:00a – 5:00p
Wednesday, March 5 | 6:00a – 2:00p
BADGE ENCODING DISCLOSURE: As a WVC primary registrant, your contact information is automatically encoded into your badge. When the badge is scanned at the Exhibit Hall, the encoding supplies your name, mailing address, email address, telephone number, and fax number, if provided. This badge system replaces a business card and should be protected and should be scanned at your discretion.
Badges will be printed onsite. US or international ID is required.
WVC Annual Conference Education Program
The WVC Annual Conference is your one-stop shop to learn and earn with hundreds of hours of veterinary continuing education (CE) credits. Nearly every topic in vet med is covered, and you can earn your CE in various ways. Choose from hands-on labs, workshops, and symposia, as well as new learning lounges inside the WVC Exhibit Hall.
Symposia
Education symposia provide a focused and themed approach to CE offerings for conference participants. Topics and speakers are cutting-edge, selected by sponsoring companies, and are approved by AAVSB RACE for CE credits. Advance registration/tickets are not required, and these sessions are included with a full WVC Annual Conference registration.
Industry Seminars
Explore the veterinary profession's most pressing topics as addressed by scientific and business experts while you enjoy a pleasant complimentary food break.
Industry Breakfast or Lunch Seminars provide excellent opportunities for you to learn about the most recent clinical results and products new to the marketplace. Complimentary Breakfast or lunch is provided. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Hands-On Labs
Elevate your WVC experience with more than 30 comprehensive hands-on labs. Immerse yourself in the newest life-saving procedures tailored for veterinarians and technicians at our cutting-edge venue just a short 10-minute ride from the main event. Complimentary shuttle service is provided. Purchase required.
CE in Exhibit Hall
Join our new educational areas to earn CE inside our WVC Exhibit Hall.
Included in your WVC registration, these bite-sized educational sessions introduce new products, procedures, and helpful tips to invigorate your clinic.
Workshops
Workshops are in-depth education sessions that allow you to engage and interact with instructors and peers. RSVP and purchase required.

The Food Court: Group Dining Made Easy
Mandalay Bay's food court is your culinary playground, boasting an array of options that cater to diverse tastes.
Given the bustling nature of the food court, we encourage you to order for groups at a time. This helps you avoid lengthy lines and allows you and your team to maximize your time at the conference.
Restaurants: Secure Your Spot
For an elevated dining experience, there a many sit-down restaurants inside Mandalay Bay and neighboring Luxor. Due to high demand, we strongly advise making reservations early to secure your table. Embrace the opportunity to enjoy the unique and award-winning dining that Vegas has to offer.
Hotel and Lodging
The 97th WVC Annual Conference is hosted at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
In addition to the host hotel, there are nearby hotels located in the area that offer discounted rates. When booking your hotel, be sure to factor in the cost of transportation. The Mandalay Bay, Luxor, and Excalibur are connected by tram, while the Four Seasons is located a short walk away.
Most other nearby hotels are approximately 1-2 miles away, a relatively short distance from the host hotel. If you are staying at a hotel that is not located near the host hotel, you may want to factor in the cost of taxis or rideshares.
